It's SL-based and a little old but much is still relevant:

I don't claim to be anything special when it comes to building (or anything, lol) but knowing how to make prims hollow, combine them into linksets and then shift-drag to clone were useful skills that accelerated building. Most crucial, however, was being able to move the avatar camera independently of the avatar so you don't have to walk the avatar everywhere to see places on large builds -- big time-saver.

Best wishes

Peter

Hallo Buddies,

How things are going with you? I'm still struggling with 3D object construction in OpenSim. I just wanted to implement some simple demo for exhibition purpose, but I find it's really time-consuming. Is it because that I am not experienced enough? Or it's just as it is? Any tips? Thanks!

Cheers,
Han
