[Opensim-users] viewer hanging up at region handshake

Yes, these problems usually indicate that the sim details passed to the viewer by the login service aren't reachable by
that viewer.
In the OpenSim.log (standalone) or Robust.log (grid) you will see something like the line
22:43:06 - [LLOGIN SERVICE]: Found destination my-region, endpoint 192.168.1.2:9001
The endpoint are the connection details for that sim passed directly to the viewer. If that address isn't reachable
then the viewer cannot send any packets to the simulator and the viewer will not get past the region handshake stage.
