So it is using a central bank, with all the issues of a single point of
control.
(at the most basic, you need to get approved by virvox, which means you
can't be an anon simhost) Bitcoin is the only P2P currency that I have come
across...

I haven't seen any .dll or module for bitcoin in OpenSim, though.
(they do have smart phone apps though, in all the app markets)
