[Opensim-users] Problems with a Grid

Dear All,




I hope, I'll find some help from you regarding my Grid settings. I'm running a Grid on 0.7.1-Rel (the actual one from OpenSimulator.org). The Robust as well as the regions are all running on the same release. A Universitiy in Germany is using 2 of the Regions for there projects and we experience variouse issues, where I believe, are based on the configuration itself.


OS: Ubuntu 10.04 TLS, Mono 2.6.7, 16 G Ram 100G Bandwidhts - DB MySQL 5.1, Webinterface com_opensim (on Joomla) with php 5.2.


The following Issues occur:


Profileserver: I'll tried the component of the jopensim component, but the logs shows, that there are some problems with it:

  at OpenSimProfile.Modules.OpenProfile.OpenProfileModule.GenericXMLRPCRequest (System.Collections.Hashtable ReqParams, System.String method) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Permissions: Avatars even have building rights or are able to build, when they are not in the group, the land was deed to. The Groupmodule in use is the flotsome Groups.Regions: the Terrain seems to change frequently without involvement of an avatar.Please ask, if you need to view robust.ini and opensim.ini.
