Good day,
since this is my first post, I apologize in advance if the question is
fairly stupid, but there it goes:
i'm trying to set up 0.7.1-dev in ubuntu 10.10 in grid mode, and I'm quite
stuck.
I tried to follow up http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Configuration and
configured Robust.ini to use MySql, edited all the *URI in
config-include/GridCommon.ini to point to my local server, R.O.B.U.S.T.#
stats okay, modified the Include-Architecture to point to
"config-include/Grid.ini" and added
*[SimulationDataStore]*
* LocalServiceModule =
"OpenSim.Services.Connectors.dll:SimulationDataService"*
*[EstateDataStore]*
* LocalServiceModule = "OpenSim.Services.Connectors.dll:EstateDataServ*
ice"
to OpenSim.ini (otherwise wouldn't start at all), but when starting first
time OpenSim.exe I get this
*03:19:10 - [FORMS]: exception occured on sending request to
http://10.21.12.104:8003/accounts: System.Net.WebException: The request
timed out*
* at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream () [0x00000] in <filename
unknown>:0*
* at
OpenSim.Framework.Servers.HttpServer.SynchronousRestFormsRequester.MakeRequest
(System.String verb, System.String requestUrl, System.String obj) [0x00000]
in <filename unknown>:0*
*03:19:10 - [FORMS]: InvalidOperationException on receiving request*
*03:19:10 - [ACCOUNT CONNECTOR]: GetUserAccount received null or empty reply
*
*03:19:10 - [SCENE]: Unable to store account. If this simulator is connected
to a grid, you must create the estate owner account first.*
I've created a user in R.O.B.U.S.T.# console, but it still times out when
trying to go through the estate owner questions.
There are no firewalls or network constrains as all runs on the same
machine.
Thanks in advance for any ideas,
Dani.
