Dear fellow OpenSimulator enthusiasts,
Awhile ago, the german chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation called for
entries for their latest "Free Knowledge/Content Competition" called
"WissensWert".
I submitted my idea on how to use OpenSimulator in conjunction with free and
open content/knowledge as Wikipedia provides.
The main idea is to collaborate and create additional content related to
wikipedia articles.
Example: The article about a machine could be be enriched with a scripted
virtual 3D object to interact with.
My suggestion was to also get wikipedia to host the OpenSimulator .iar
files.
Another option I suggested was to offer questions related to the articles as
well as establishing a High-Score feature.
*Imagine an .iar file attached to every wikipedia article.*
The entry is in the next round and you can vote for the project.
Please do so and tell a friend:
