Just as a check Bob, you might want to read the OpenSim.Region.Framework.Scenes.UuidGatherer class in OpenSim which identifies all the assets used by a particular scene object in order to correctly take them all into an OAR/IAR.  I'd be very interested if you've come across anything that I missed out (I sincerely hope not!).
