why not use the /SStats/ function of opensim ?

http://your.ip.adress:yourport/SStats/

you have to enable the function it in the opensim.ini and than Region
Statistics
can be called from the Webpage.

[WebStats]

; View region statistics via a web page

; See http://opensimulator.org/wiki/FAQ#Region_Statistics_on_a_Web_Page

; Use a web browser and type in the "Login URI" + "/SStats/"

; For example- http://127.0.0.1:9000/SStats/

; enabled=false

Lookat my example where i have a Frameset
of all my Regions here: <http://www.spacefriends.de/osgrid.htm>
http://www.spacefriends.de/osgrid.htm

If a region is offline you can not connect to it .. °
best regards

Betreff: [Opensim-users] Testing if sim is online

Hi all,

I'm trying to put together a page which shows if my sims are online or not -
but I run into a snag. Usually I do this kind of things with simple tcp
connect to port in question, but with opensim that doesn't seem to work -
only port that respons to tcp connection is 9000 obiviously, but how can I
test my other sims if they're responding or not? (ports 9001->)

Harri
