I have a feeling i know what the problem is but we need details of
your setup before we can advise you further
1 cpu type and speed
2 memory amount
3 connection type
4 how are these folks logging into the sim
5 exact version of opensim and number of regions you have
6 which database backend are you using
7 do you have a client running on the laptop also??
