[Opensim-users] Problem Building OpenSim in FreeBSD

Jay I feel.. rather felt your pain. I am a Unix veteran too and even though I
love FreeBSD I couldn't take the pain of trying get OpenSim to compile
correctly on it. So I switched over to Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop and life has been
much better. I have one test machine that has been running a four region
OpenSim for almost 5 months now without restarting OpenSim or the machine.
Of course this is just a test to see if Linux can be as stable as FreeBSD
and so far it seems to be holding up. Oh and it is all running on a 512mb
T30 laptop circa 2002. :)
