You probably want to wait for a while in case someone leaps in and shows that I'm wrong and there is some way of 
changing it :)

Otherwise, I guess the place to start would be talk to Hippo viewer people and hopefully we can have an eventual 
discussion here (at the risk of generating even more mailing list traffic :)  Once there is an initial viewer neutral 
implementation, then others could also make use of it.

The other option might be simply to wait (often a very good option :).  I say that because if Linden Labs are selling 
isolated grids to companies, then companies that aren't based in the States may well want something other than PST in 
the viewer.
