[Opensim-users] Opensim-users Digest, Vol 24, Issue 24

Hi Andrew.

It is clear for all that standalone mode is ok for remote connections.
The problem that we tried to solve by using grid mode was to keep the
appearance of other's avatars. As you know, when one connects remotely, all
other users are displayed as Ruth, even when they see their respective
avatars properly in their computers. Since we had reports of other users
that explained that this issue does not happen in grid mode, we tried to
migrate to grid.

I get from your message that the solution of avatars' appearance is to
migrate to MySQL but keeping standalone mode. I'll try that.

   Thanks
