Some questions..
(1) when an object undergoes a temporal transformation (i.e.,
translation or
rotation), is this action perform by the client or by the server?
For example,
if llRotate is used, is this done on the client? Same question
for placing a
force or torque on a physical object - is ODE running on the
client? That
would seem to make sense, as then the server must communicate
only either the
llRotate parameters or the force/torque rather than a huge # of
data packets,
which is impractical.
(2) I am using MySQL in grid mode, but not sure where the thread maximum
setting is located? I can check this as well as the UGAIM Config
files when
I get back home, and report back.
LC says;
"A wrong db settings could lead to unexpected results particularly
with mysql. "
What are the correct db settings? All I did was to create a
database in MySQL,
as I could not find instructions for anything beyond that. When
run for the first
time, the MySQL database was populated with tables.
