[Opensim-users] Interesting thought I have had

I am not sure if/when this will work, but if it does, others
might also find the idea useful...

In about 4 months when my present residential ADSL2 plan ends, I
am looking at getting a small-business plan which inclides a
static IP and permission to host servers. It also includes 20MB
of static web space on my ISP's server.

I am hoping that at that time I can put all my textures on this
upstream web space where they can be accessed quickly and
without loading up my last-mile line using url-referenced
textures, leaving the relatively lower-traffic parts of my sim
to run off my actual home box.

Any opinions on whether this sounds sensible/useful? ;-)
