[Opensim-users] Feature Request: Client Inventory method.

I'm new to OpenSIM, and after logging into OSGrid, and a few other grids 
running OpenSIM, I am very excited to see the work you are all doing.  I 
do have a feature request, and I am sure you are all thinking about this 
as well.

Avatar / inventory portability.

It'd be interesting if a user could operate a local database for 
inventory that could hold personal inventory on the user's own machine.  
It may require a special build of the client, or perhaps initially an 
external application.  It'd be nice to be able to log into any sim, or 
grid, and deposit copies of my inventory into that grid, so I can have 
my inventory persist in multiple virtual worlds.

Is anything being planned along these lines?  If so, could someone 
please point me to the documentation on it so I can read up on it?
