<div>I hope someone comes forward to maintain the MSSQL code, I REALY liked working with  it ... it gives a good alternative in MS_Windows for MySQL. Like on linux you have PostgreSQL (Witch is great!!) and MySQL.  It just a matter of witch database is best suitable for opensimulator and features  yet to come ....</div>

Indeed, as far as I know nobody on the OpenSim core team uses MSSQL.

Even if the MSSQL adaptor is removed, if someone does step forward to support it in the future then it can be added back.
