      the inventory service after the asset issue, and it was showing
      the inventory with names and properties.<br>
      <br>
       Looking at the inventory service, only the asset itself is saved
      in the asset server. Recovering all cached data without Name and
      description would thus not be much of an issue for the inventory.
      On the region side, well... no name/description would be better
      than empty region.<br>

        lot of the data from the asset cache. The items in the cache are
        serialized instances of AssetBase which is the object passed to
        the database system. I'd have to do some more looking to make
        sure the name and description are stored in the AssetBase but a

        inventory, though -- one could recover the assets but not have
        any handles to them.
