That is not what i was talking about, you mention that a new field is required in the regions table, i assumed you meant the core Robust regions table? if this is the case that will have to change, as like i said previously touching core tables is against the policy set forth by the development team for official OpenSimulator modules.
Well, the classifieds already are in the profiles module and sofar
also only get used by the profile service. One could leave the empty
classifieds table in the search module as before, and just let it
return the empty result.

I personaly dont see why one should continue keeping a empty db,
there isnt even an webexampe for the classifieds. The only possible
use of the classifieds via the search module would be, if someone
has created their ownown webservice to add classifieds there, in
which case one could transfer them 1:1 (with new id) to the profiles
table.
Hi.

I have done some changes to the OSSearch and OSProfile module.
The changes require the webservices and the os modules to be
updated.

After implementation the inworld search will show the
classifieds and the search is improved. Maybe someone of the
devs could aply the changes to Forge ;)

Profile Module
-------------

- Added the inworld search for classiefieds to the Profile
Module as the Classifieds are created and saved by the Profile
Module.

Search Module
-------------

- Removed the classifieds which are now in the profile
module....
- improved the seach by keywords...
- added a db cleanup option to "register.php". This removes
all old data from the database. This is to improve the search
and keep the db smaler. This also requires a new field in
regions table...
