Granted, Ryan, we all live for the future - but we do so in the hope that we might somehow influence that future.

I do applaud you for opening the drapes and letting the light in, as it were - but a mistake remains a mistake, past, present or future.

This particular mistake hasn't done a lot of good for their stature in the community - nor has getting into bed with Sakai Olife and OpenLife grid, who pretty well exploited Rexx for his own benefit, and your team went for it hook line and sinker.

That being said, it is clear that positive steps are being taken, but the journey is not yet complete - forgive me if I dont believe it until I see it. The track record so far, as they say, is not especially good.

BTW, I speak for myself only, and my opinions are almost certainly at odds with at least someone in the opensim community, if not most. I dont presume to speak for them. My observations are my own, and are not unfounded or uninformed. I just dont subscribe to the notion that I should mince words when expressing my opinion. It is a philosophy that leaves little room for doubt about where I stand.

As for my incendiary nature, no contest. You can pretty well count on it that if I fire a shot, the charge will be hot.

Cheers
James

On Fri, Dec 5, 2008 at 1:47 PM, Ryan McDougall <sempuki1@gmail.com> wrote:

No they failed to allocate resources they way you would. You have the
right to disagree with them, but I have the right to consider that
unconstructive. Its not your money being spent.

However as I said, I have helped re-prioritize that to include cross
platform. But it takes a while write a large ship.
think "they" get it now.
