There is already one piece of information that *regions* may be
exposing to the outside world, if their admins choose to: their
searchable data. This has been a recent addition through a module
called DataSnapshot, which is optional and configurable. It's not all
you're asking for, but it's within the spirit of the things you're
asking for: data exposure.<br>

is create a new project. I've started a project on google code called
"thirdlife" where I am going to focus my efforts on grid information
services. If any of you all are grid owners, I'd like to get a hold
of you to try to figure out what information exactly you all are
looking to expose to users. Thanks!
