<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Setting aside the fact that, in this
particular case, the issue extends beyond openSIm itself and embraces the
client too. It seems to me that message we should all be getting from this
chain of notes is that we need to make sure we're architecting openSim
in a way that allows people to experiment with ideas like this. The ability
to explore interesting variations upon a theme, without having to re-implement
the entire theme, is what open source is all about from a technologist's
perspective.</font>

ask the question, are we architecting it in that way? And if not, what
do we need to do?</font>
