It not my impression .I know that there is no release of opensim since 0901 but  that does not mean there is no new stuff.  The proof of that is the numerous git branch and compiled version  existing among which the one I know below:

Also its interesting to check the  last OSCC18  conference where Melanie presented an alternate viewer specifically design for opensim. Looking forward to OSCC19 on that front.
