If it's part of the opensimulator project infrastructure, the
opensimulator project has a responsibility to make sure it
functions correctly. If the project can't do that, the tool
must be removed imho.

Scary, but ok. I'd be happy to help fix warnings, but i'm a bit
hesistant - would it make sense for me to start working on this? I
don't want to start on something only to be told what i'm doing
is never going to be used.

Also, what would be the correct procedure? Create an item in mantis
for the warning and then put the patch there?

I don't like software that compiles with warnings (it's often a
sign that corners have been cut).
