[Opensim-dev] Can text chat be restricted to a parcel?

Greetings, all.

In the Options tab of About Land is a setting for "Allow residents on other 
parcels to:" and the setting with the checkbox under that says "See and chat 
with residents on this parcel". That option is always checkmarked and grayed 
out so it can't be changed.

Is this feature supported in the 0.8.0-post-fixes of Open Sim? If not, is it 
supported in either, or both, of 0.8.1-post-fixes or the master branches
of Open Sim?

If it is supported in 080PF, what do you have to do to be able to change the 
setting from within a viewer?
