In the long run, however, it is advised that grid operators adjust the 
DB, specifically inventory folders tables, so that they reflect the 
codes of the "protocol."
Just for convenience, in mysql, one only needs to run:

UPDATE LOW_PRIORITY `inventoryfolders` SET type=8 WHERE type=9 AND parentFolderID=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

to change those root folders to the correct folder type.
