[Opensim-dev] GIT (Linux only) allways need to stash commits to update repo with "pull"...

[OpenSimFan]

with GIT (Linux only)  I always need to stash commits to update master repo
with "pull"... why 



is it possible to configure git to "allow" overwrite existing files within
repo? 
tips are welcome...
