Hello Ai,

To me it looks like the best approach would be first to try increasing the
command timeout through the conn string, using new mySQL driver, NO
"Old Guids" and NO "pooling=false;".

If this solves the migration timeouts, the picture should become much
more clear and if there are any remaining problems with the migrations
and the driver compatibility, they should be much easier to locate and
fix.

Afterwards, it might make sense to hardcode a huge timeout directly into the
Migration class, so that it is always used in any migrations, while the
default (moderate) timeout will remain for regular operations.
