Hello all,

I'm the current maintainer of the VAST project at SourceForge
(http://vast.sf.net), and I'd like to let this community know there's
an upcoming workshop on Massively Multiuser Virtual Environment (MMVE)
in Nov. 2010, focusing on the techniques of developing large-scale
virtual worlds. It's the 3rd run, and this year it'll be co-located
with the ACM Advances in Computer Entertainment (ACE) conference, as
well as the ACM/IEEE NetGames workshop.

Topics of the MMVE workshop include the scalability, persistence, and
interoperability of virtual worlds, among others. Your knowledge and
practical experiences on OpenSim will thus be of great interest to
MMVE. If you're interested to share your experiences and interact with
other research / industry participants, please see the following for more
info. Please also feel free to let me know if you've any questions.
