I assume the main aim initially is to be able to resolve the avatar
name for things like asset creator or owner so we don't get the
"Loading..." on assets that are moved around the HyperGrid.

Does that mean living within the basic idea of UUID -> Firstname
Lastname? Like the Hypergrid avatar "labels". It would basically
indicate that the item came from the avatar with the given name who
came from the grid with the given loginuri at the time it came into
the local environment.

I noted that Diva plans to consider how to deliver IMs across grids
too... which would be great... and again I assume that a unique
avatar name on a specific grid or standalone is all that is needed for that?

[Just a mention that I wonder if, rather than peer-to-peer delivery
of IMs when they can syncronise, a setup using XMPP/Jabber messaging
using any nominated XMP/Jabber delivery service could be a long term
stable basis for this, and open up improved ways to move XML packets
between grids too. Some folks were working on osXMPP function
proposals and XMPP/Jabber modules for OpenSim/RealXtend a while
ago. Did anything get finished off for others to use?
