what would really rock is if different networks/grids had a common
ID/inventory service so that if you did an account with GallifreySim
but wanted to check out Earth 3.0 or BadWolf.net then they could
either login or just hop into a "jumpGate"*

*which brings an interesting way to link different grids since you
could "dial up" the other grid and know if it could work since (using
Stargate terms) the gates would be say Milkyway Style or Pegasus Style
or Destiny style
