Not to confuse anyone, but just to clarify... California is not currently in
Standard Time right now. I believe you actually meant to say 8am PDT if you
are talking about the California/Los Angeles/San Francisco area.

Which would mean a 2 hour time difference for me (I'm in Chicago - CDT).

Indiana, Arizona and Hawaii are still using CST, MST, and HST respectively.
They don't switch or observe daylight savings time.

So I believe you mean PDT, not PST. (As California currently observes
Daylight Savings Time)

Not all countries (or states) observe Daylight Savings Time. For those in
different countries, you can click on this link below, and just select your
home country and it will automatically calculate the time based on your time
zone and the current "Daylight Savings Time" rules in your particular host
country:

Again, I agree with Charles.

Name the time and the place. I still think the best thing to do is use the
message lists, to get the maximum amount of participation, but if we're
going to schedule a meeting please let the list know where and when (and
how).

So that we can attend. Are you talking about 8am PST as in 10 minutes from
now? If so, please let us know where the meeting is at, and how to attend.

Indeed, discussing these subjects with those on the opensim-dev mailing list
in voice or text is to all of our mutual advantage.

Many folks have complained to me of the way the money issue was handled and
communication with the rest of the community is important to moving forward
and helping credibility.

Another thing we could do to improve the state of comms would be to have
voice meetings once in a while. I hate meetings as much as everyone
else, but voice meetings tend to be much faster than email discussions
back & forth. Hey -- we could even use Freeswitch with a cool virtual
world system I know called OpenSim! :-)
I haven't tried installing it, but I can try to do it in one of the sims
of the UCI Grid.
These would be meetings for core only.

As agenda for a possible first meeting to be held soon, I would propose
- postmortem of the money issue process/action
- pluginizing OpenSim servers
- anything else anyone wants to bring up

I know we're all in different time zones, so I'm not sure a synchronous
meeting is feasible.
Would 8am PST work for everyone?
