[Opensim-dev] OGPX Request for Participation

Yeah, too many things too little time, unfortunately.
You clearly don't need my input for OGP, it seems that it's well
thought-out and close to being a finished design. I'll be looking
forward to seeing the opensim OGP implementation coming our way. With
the new software architecture we are putting in place, this should be
easier for you to do, since even the agent/object simulation will be
pluggable.

In contrast to my input being useless to OGP, your input will be most
welcome here when we discuss Grider, for example, and the changes that
the clients need to undergo for the Hypergrid2. LL's cooperation on
changes to the client would be of enormous value.

As for efforts to IETF OGP, I really think it's premature to engage in
such efforts. The IETF is not a design forum, it's a place to discuss
and compare existing working implementations, of which, in the case of
OGP, there are none available for the community to assess (I'm
discounting the OGP module in OpenSim, because it only illustrates a
small portion of the protocol). But obviously you should do whatever you
think is best, and I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of people
interested in helping you succeed with making OGP an official internet
standard.
