I'm curious what the issues are on the windows side, because I just
plodded through clicking yesterday and got tortoise git installed. If
we need better instructions, we can definitely do that.
If you just want to get a particular revision of OpenSim, you can do
that without any installed source tools via the tar.gz and zip links
here: http://opensimulator.org/viewgit/?a=summary&p=opensim-test (for
the git testing tree).
Tools changes are a transition, and some learning is going to be
required, but I really believe this will make us all more productive in
the long term.
