[Opensim-dev] under consideration, transitioning to git

Been using git for a while, and after you get over the inital learning
curve, things are MUCH easier in the long term

Works very well for me on windows too, ive been using visa win2k and XP

Git is also well suited to storing more than just source code, it can
use its BLOB file store for assets too, should you wish, which become
instantly distriubted

www.github.com offer 300MB of free space, there's also
http://gitorious.org/ but you may want to host the core yourself,
which isnt hard
