[Opensim-dev] Local assets in Grid mode

If you mean removing the "local assets" - "grid assets" switch, I'm +1 for that too. I don't think there should be two asset technologies like that, just one asset server that you specify under its own URL under the [Network] area. For local assets you just write http://172.0.0.1:8003 and for grid ones just http://gridaddress:8003 and that's all. The technology could make it so that every running simulator can automatically be streaming an asset server too, though as discussed the problem would be how to get local assets into grid ones while the sim is running. For now I think things just need to be made more simple here. Also, I seen that "local assets" is the default in opensim.ini.example and I think that could be a cause why many people are running local assets on the grid without knowing as they miss that field (for those who don't purposely want local assets).
