Looks promising, although I would think that we would want to move away 
from a wide AddXXX interface and concentrate on an AddStreamHandler 
accompanied by a healthy group of specialized StreramHandlers.
 
That was the initial idea with introducing the stream handler construct, 
but we kind of never got there, like so many other good ideas.
