I see. My understanding was the modules in question were like
the new additional scripting engines only.

The goal to separate all the OpenSim subsystems so they can be
easily swappable makes a lot of sense. However the subset of modules
which is necessary to run a grid should probably be bundled together,
so a default setup can be brought up with minimal effort.
