I am not about to give my personal data to some uber-powerful
central entity in web 3.0. So, OpenID can't be mandatory. Also, my
thoughts go towards making it unnecessary for regions to talk to
each other in that way. The point was that the topic of asset trust
can be offloaded to the server/client relationship, rather than
making it the business of every region operator.
So, rather than loading the avatar "Asset server -> region -> client
(bake) -> region", loading it "Asset server -> client (bake) ->
region". Effectively, the region an avatar ventures into would never
see the raw appearance assets, only baked form, which is much less
useful for thieves.
