-1 on browser based viewers, too

I am seriously beginning to hate the way this browser-centric way of 
thinking makes end user believe their computer is there only to run the 
browser, and "The Internet" is in that one window.

"Let me open the internet and look", "I crashed the internet"... just a 
couple of things that show that people fully equate the WWW with the 
internet as a whole.

As more and more non-WWW (non HTML, non HTTP) things are bundled into 
the browser, the browser becomes terrible bloatware that pretty much 
eats up all the computer's resources.

I think the time for a backlash is long overdue, people need to be given 
an _alternative_ to the browser, not yet another browser plugin!
