Have you considered to use "DBProviderFactory" to absorb the difference
among databases ?
I believe that you know about "DBProviderFactory", is there any reason that
we can not use it in OpenSim ?

I have made some tools for manipulate "prims, primshapes" by using
"DBProviderFactory".
It works very well, I can always keep only one set of code to access both
"MySQL" and "SQLite".

I mean, by using "DBProviderFactory", "opensim official supports" can be
transfered to ".net officical supports".
but if there is any reason that we can not use it, forget this.
