[Opensim-dev] Object Representation

I'm a bit worried that nhibernate or another generic mapper solution will prove too coarse grained for a specialized and optimized storage strategy.
For example, is it possible to specify that you want to store just a number of fields, not all fields and not cascading updates?
Please alleviate fear?
