Yes.

Yes. That's the current state of things. I think we should restrict
access when the user is in foreign grids, although there is a large
spectrum of access control strategies that can be employed, some
technical, others TOS-ish.

Internally what matters is your UUID. The name is only for other people
to be able to recognize you. But this is related to the policies that
OSGrid, and other grids, have in place for user registration. Do you
accept registrations from two different users, one named Charles Krinke
and the other named charles krinke? If you do, then there can be two
users with almost the same name.

Yes.
All of this is already happening. In almost all meetings in WP for the
past couple of weeks there have been people participating who come from
their own grids.
