Yeh, that's the direction I'm leaning at this point as well.  And part
of my thoughts on a short term goal of making what we have right now
better, as the benefit to our user community would be substantial.

And, as our data sets get much larger the db side of things is going to
start showing up as part of our performance bottlenecks.
