[Opensim-dev] avatar_appearance

I wonder if someone can help me understand avatar_appearance a little bit. There is lots of talk about it on #opensim tonight and I didnt even notice it.

I can see there is a mysql create table statement to create another table in the grid database. I have to wonder if this avatar appearance is affecting OSGrid as there is no avatarappearance table in the osgrid datastor.

This is a bit puzzling and some data would be appreciated.
