Ok -- in that sense I guess I'm all for it, esp. if Linden is behind it and
will support these changes in their client.  But my personal desire is to go
the other way -- make regions huge (goal: a whole grid is one mega-region),
and figure out how to service them with computer clusters that apply CPU,
memory and bandwidth where it's needed, as opposed to being pinned down to a
particular plot of virtual land.
