[Opensim-dev] #opensim, #opensim-dev on irc.freenode.net

I established #opensim and #opensim-dev on irc.freenode.net, hoping that
we'll have better luck with keeping people connected there than efnet,
which seems to be banning individuals, and I know some orgs ban access
to.

freenode also supports nickserv and chanserv, so channels and nicks are
registered and can be given permissions as part of the infrastructure.
This will make it a bit easier to ensure we don't get stuck with
unchangable topics and the like. :)

A few folks are trickling over now. Unless there are major objections
to the move, I'd suggest that we migrate our conversations over there.

There is no silver bullet. Plus, werewolves make better neighbors
than zombies, and they tend to keep the vampire population down.
