Hola Sargas,
Voy a intentar responder a tus preguntas:- What kind of audio format does opensim use?

- Is it possible to limit the number of clients by region and/or building/room?
- Is there any max number of items per building/room?

I was having fun tiling the ground and above with .25 meter cubes and ended up with this;

This test was conducted on a 100MB ethernet network.

The instance is running 3 regions, two with no prim in it.
The sim is running ODE with a single agent.

The client is running on a different machine then the sim.
This was using the mySQL DB interface in Grid Mode

at 16,750 prim, the instance of OpenSim was using up 45% of a dual core 3Ghz processor(one core)
at 20,256 prim, the instance of OpenSim was using up 22% of a dual core 3Ghz processor(both cores)
In both cases the memory usage was around 145MB of RAM
using 58 Threads
758 handles
avg 1600 context switches
- How many different servers or worlds can be run in the same computer?

Hi all. I'm a programmer from Spain. Me and my team are on the early stages of programming a MMORPG under Guadalinex (linux distribution based on Ubuntu). Right now, I'm gathering info about some engines for our project, and one of them is the OpenSim + SL linux client. I've read on the wiki and i've got almos everything I need, but I need some more data that I have not found on the web or the sim source code. I hope you can help me. The info I need is:- What kind of audio format does opensim use?- Is it possible to limit the number of clients by region and/or building/room?- Is there any max number of items per building/room?- How many different servers or worlds can be run in the same computer?Any info you could give me will be very much appreciated. Thanks.
