How does this relate to osslEnable.ini? is it giving an error about permissions? The same permissions are applied to X and Y in that file

I can only tell you what I've found, not what it means.
With YEngine, SF farm bots give an ossl script error, even though the osslEnable.ini file is perfectly fine. So, as Ubit told me, just use XEngine, in that case. I'm just putting this here, so other people don't have to spend hours of their lives, chasing edge cases, that I've already done for them :)
|script error or permisson error? Please upload the error, without the error this mantis is too vague|
We will be closing this issue if no further information is given, as we don't have crystal balls that magically let us see what you see.
YEngine interprets ossl slightly differently just by nature of being a different engine, but underneath the execution code is the same. Errors generated are usually fairly descriptive as to what's going wrong and are usually no indicator of an underlying bug(not impossible of course but extremely rare). Given satyr farm stuff is the equivalent of "my first script" in terms of code quality it is likely just not adhering to proper LSL standards and thus causing an error.
On re-checking on this issue, I was unable to replicate the initial NPC/YEngine failure, which initially was an ossl function permission error, even though all ossl perms were in fact correct.
Having swapped the sim back to XEngine and then back to YEngine, NPC's then performed as one would expect.
My thanks to Dan Banner for assisting in this process. I'll mark this issue as resolved :)
