Returns cause a delete call of sorts so this probably falls under osg not having delete enabled on assets.

could not repo with 0.9.2
This issue is specific to osgrid and it is basically just noise.
Should be a easy fix, hope they will add a dummy method and stop returning a error on a method that is part of spec.

well [SRestObjectRequest]is a 0.9.2 message.. next time can you please take the time to specify proper opensim version on the issue (Product Version above)?

I am also seeing this frequently in recent weeks, only on OSGrid on osgrid release code. It applies also to Windows 10.

Making an assignment of this issue to Dan Banner for OSGrid. Just remove yourself if that is not appropriate Dan. Thanks.

Ive returned a few objects and this does not occur. I know that this log message can safely be ignored. I usually see it involving V1 maptiles.

e.g. GET/POST are allowed DELETE is not

That looks right Dan. I am seeing it each time a map tile is generated on an OSGrid OpenSim.exe instance. E.g.

17:49:13 - [WORLD MAP]: Generating map image for Marineville
17:49:49 - [SRestObjectRequest]: [^] returned error: MethodNotAllowed
17:49:49 - [WORLD MAP]: Storing map image e03d60d8-3108-43df-b152-fdd1a134d5da for Marineville

Grid specific, not an OpenSim bug.
