|0008781||opensim||[REGION] OpenSim Core||public||2020-10-16 08:50||2020-11-19 07:02|
|Platform||PC||Operating System||Windows||Operating System Version||10|
|Product Version||0.9.2.0 dev|
|Target Version||0.9.2.0 dev||Fixed in Version||master (dev code)|
|Summary||0008781: Drag and drop of an inventory folder to another avatar loses one (last?) item in transfer|
|Description||Just noticing that a drag and drop of a folder of 5 full permission items from one avatar to another on (almost) latest 0.9.2.0 dev master loses the last item that was in the folder. |
The last item itself can be sent separately with no problem, but the receiving user would not likely know they had an item missing to ask about that.
Example was giving the inventory folder from an Ailand grid avatar (on opensim-0.9.2.0Dev-863-g6446489.zip) to an OSGrid avatar on the EEP Beta version of OSGrid, but the OSGrid avatar had TP via HG to the AiLand grid, so I assume the issue is in 0.9.2.0 dev master.
|Steps To Reproduce||Create a folder with several items in it, all full permission. drop that folder onto the receiving avatar, note item missing.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|Git Revision or version number||opensim-0.9.2.0Dev-863-g6446489|
|Run Mode||Grid (Multiple Regions per Sim)|
|Environment||.NET / Windows64|
So somewhere there is a < instead of a == huh, well now to find that...
From some http debug it seems it actually sends all items, but the other side doesn't receive? It pastes so long as item remaining, but I can't find how remaining items is defined.

should be better now
there is no 0.9.2.1 master it is 0.9.2.0 dev,
Code state identifiers are the commit numbers, assuming older ones applied.
Temporary work may happen on a branch also, in that case
Only after a release a version corresponds to a defined code state.
Releases with just fixes or minor changes are releases with a higher minor number, the use of -postfixes was just a nonsense waste of chars.
there maybe other cases like RC-XX for temporary cases as release candidates.
